The events surrounding the Libyan consulate attack have no bearing on nor any importance in the presidential election. To believe otherwise is to have the wool pulled over your eyes by a desperate, manipulative partisan media machine. It is smoke and mirrors intended to shift focus away from real and important issues facing this country. Every minute dedicated to coverage is a lost opportunity to learn about the candidate’s positions on real issues.
I’ll give you a simple explanation of what you need to know about Sept 11, 2012 in Benghazi. The United States runs the best security, military, diplomatic, intelligence machine the world has ever seen. Believe that they did the right thing that day in Libya. They’re no fools when it comes to fucking up the bad guys. Mistakes will be made now and then. It is foolhardy to believe this type of machinery can be operated flawlessly. Strategic directions and decisions should be questioned, often and by those with authority to demand answers and enact changes. Seeking some deeper political meaning in how things went down or who knew what and when is to fall for the red herring and be misled by the media.
